Monday, June 7th, is right around the corner. We hope everyone can make it to our big 9th anniversary live taping. Doors open at 7pm and the admission is free. We’ll have our annual audience question/answer segment and everyone will get a free PWNNV rally towel. The event will be at the Butler Little Theater, one Howard Street,Butler, PA.

Pro Wrestling Newz ‘n Viewz has finally joined the rest of the world and put up a Facebook page. It will actually be great way for us to communicate with the viewers out there. Due to my own time constraints, I can’t update this site as much as I would like. The Facebook page will allow an easier and faster mode of communication. Plus, it will allow everyone to interact a little easier.
That doesn’t mean I’m going to abandon this site, but the Facebook page will have very regular updates. Thanks for all of your support and I hope to see everyone at our live anniversary show, monday, June 7. The link below takes you to the new Facebook page. When you get there, please join in.

Randy and John from Pro Wrestling Newz 'n Viewz interviewing Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff
All of us at PWNNV wish to thank Chuck Roberts and everyone at IWC for allowing us to do our thing at the annual Night of the Legends show in Franklin, PA. We always get to see lots of old friends and make new ones, as well. It was a great time for everyone who attended.
We had our work cut out for us that night, sitting down for legthy interviews with the likes of The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase, Paul “Mr. Wonderful” Orndorff, Koko B. Ware, David Sammartino, as well as a few more.
While all of the interviews went well, the Paul Orndorff interview was one of the best. Orndorff has a rep, deservedly or not, as being rather difficult, not to mention being an extremely tough individual. Luckily, Orndorff and I seemed to “hit it off” during the interview and he was willing to talk about anything we threw at him, and he seemed to be enjoying himself. He spoke of everything from the real deal behind his involvement with Hulk Hogan and the WWF expansion years to knocking out Vader in the WCW locker room. Trust me, you won’t want to miss this one.
Chris Klucsaritis, who wrestled as Chris Kanyon and Mortis, passed away from an overdose of sleeping pills at his apartment in Queens, NY last night. He was 40 years old.
Things like this are always a shame. Kanyon was a better than average worker, who really got lost in the shuffle once WCW was purchased by the WWE. He came out as being gay and tried to get TNA to bring him in using his homosexuality as a gimmick, but they were never interested.
Kanyon had a history of depression and claimed to be bi-polar. He apparently had spoken of suicide in the past and, apparently, was talking about it earlier in the week. It’s a shame there wasn’t help for him.
Pro Wrestling Newz n Viewz will have it’s 9th anniversary live show taping on June 7th 2010. The location will once again be at the Butler Little Theater in downtown Butler, PA. The live show will begin at 7:30 with doors opening at 7:00. As always, admission is free.
As we do every year, we will have a question/answer session with the audience that will be taped for broadcast. Members of the audience can ask any questions they’d like to throw at the guys. There will be door prizes and special guests. More information will be upcoming.

Ok, you’ve all had a couple of days to think about it. Did you watch RAW, TNA, or both? Which did you think was better?
Personally, I flipped back and forth, but found that the curiosity factor with TNA kept me watching that more than RAW. TNA seemed like a train wreck at points, but some of it I found kind of enjoyable. It’s all going to be interesting, because Impact’s ratings were not what they hoped for.
As successful and great as Ric Flair has been in the ring, his personal life is often the opposite. Last Sunday, Jacqueline Beems, Ric Flair’s fourth wife, was arrested for assaulting the Nature Boy. According to the police report, Flair, who turns 61 this week, had visible minor injuries, but refused to go to the hospital. Flair and his wife had been out to dinner and apparently gotten into a disagreement. The couple were only married last November.
